If you are planning to join the global launch of Aion 2 on Steam or PURPLE, you have a choice to make before the free-to-play servers open. The Aion 2 Founder's Packs offer a 5-day early access window, cosmetic items, and a bundled subscription.

A short answer up front: free-to-play players should buy nothing and wait for the free launch on October 5, 2026. If you want early access and the 30-day membership, the Standard pack is all you need. You should only buy the Deluxe or Ultimate packs if you specifically want the cosmetic armor, weapons, and pets, as none of them offer combat stats.

Every pack is limited to one per account. You can upgrade on PURPLE later by paying the difference, but upgrades do not grant an extra membership.

AION 2 Standard Founder's Pack

The Standard Founder's Pack costs $24.99 and provides 5-day Early Access starting September 30, 2026.

  • Special Quai Membership (30 Days) x1
  • Daeva's Campaign Supply Chest (Bound) x1: Return Scroll (Bound) x10, Courage Scroll (Bound) x10, Speed Scroll (Bound) x10, Benediction Scroll (Bound) x10, Absorption Scroll (Bound) x10, Life Potion (Bound) x100, Life Serum (Bound) x50, Healing Potion (Bound) x30, Power Shard (Bound) x10,000, and Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) x5.
  • Title: Vanguard of Atreia x1 (No additional stats).

AION 2 Deluxe Founder's Pack

The Deluxe Founder's Pack costs $49.99. It includes 5-day Early Access, Vanguard of Atreia title, Campaign Supply Chest, and one Special Quai Membership (30 Days). It adds two cosmetic appearances:

  • Ascended Daeva (Skin: Set) (Bound) x1: Breastplate, Greaves, Helm, Pauldrons, Gloves, Boots, and Cloak.
  • Weapon Skin Chest: Eternal Sun (Bound) x1. These are cosmetic items that grant no additional stats.

AION 2 Ultimate Founder's Pack

The Ultimate Founder's Pack costs $99.99. It includes 5-day Early Access, Vanguard of Atreia title, Campaign Supply Chest, one Special Quai Membership (30 Days), the Ascended Daeva set, and the Eternal Sun weapon chest. It adds:

  • Moonlit Aria (Skin: Set) (Bound) x1: Breastplate, Greaves, Helm, Gloves, Boots, and Cloak.
  • Daeva's Styling Chest (Bound) x1: Customization Voucher (Bound) x1 and Appearance Change Voucher (7 Days) (Bound) x1.
  • Pet: Black Dragon x1 (Cosmetic, no stats).
  • Blazing Sun Wings (Bound) x1 (Cosmetic, no stats).

Special Quai Membership: what it changes

Every pack tier includes a Special Quai Membership (30 days), the $15.00 monthly subscription (sold standalone starting October 5). It provides server-wide benefits for characters on the server where you activate it.

  • Remote Storage access: Access storage directly from the Cube instead of visiting a storage NPC.
  • Personal Trading: Allowed 5 times a day, and the other player must also have an active Special Quai Membership.
  • Wind Breeze Merchants: Access through the Shop interface.
  • Market access: Without membership you can still list items for sale, but you cannot purchase from the market. Membership unlocks purchasing.
  • Quna Exchange Shop access: Lets members exchange Kinah for Quna and Quna for Kinah.
  • Odyle Energy increases: Maximum capacity increases (the exact amount has not been announced), and Expedition, Transcendence, and Sanctuary reward cubes give two Odyle Energy injections instead of one.

Which pack fits which player

  • Free-to-play curious: Buy nothing initially. Try the Launch Scale Test on September 17 and 18, or wait for the October 5 free launch. Read our Aion 2 Beginner Guide to prepare.
  • Casual players and Early Access focused: If you want early access and a 30-day membership, Standard is the bundle to buy.
  • Alts and economy players: Stick to the Standard pack. Membership is server-wide, and packs have identical progression value.
  • Cosmetic collectors: Choose Deluxe or Ultimate by the actual added looks. None grant stats.

What is not worth paying for

Do not upgrade to the Deluxe or Ultimate pack for progression value. The armor skins, weapon skin, title, pet, and wings give no extra combat stats. Do not treat the Daeva's Campaign Supply Chest as an XP booster. The contents are standard early-game consumables you will earn through regular gameplay. There is no premium Daeva Pass, Quna grant, or character-slot expansion present in higher tiers.

What creators say

  • Kentaro recommends the Standard pack if paying. He considers Deluxe a personal cosmetic preference and Ultimate poor value unless you specifically want cosmetics.
  • CrusherXGaming praises the retroactive membership addition but views the economy paywall as a significant restriction.
  • Kira dislikes per-character battle passes and considers buying Kinah through premium currency the more consequential monetization issue.
  • FRESHY criticizes charging for the marketplace and the premium-currency-to-gold exchange.
  • SywoGG initially strongly disliked the original pack value but is more optimistic about global progression after hearing there should be no Heroic drops at launch.
  • Anders says casual players can play without membership if slower progress is acceptable, while competitive seasonal ranking players gain substantial time value from it.
  • Ashkay_y would choose Standard if buying, but recommends waiting five days if there is no need for early access.

Do I get 120 guaranteed hours of Early Access?

No. Early access starts September 30, but exact opening and closing hours are not officially established. The official notice expressly allows for maintenance downtime.

Are the Founder's Pack items account-wide?

It is not confirmed. While the purchase limit is 1 per account and membership is server-wide, the official notice gives "X / X / X" under Trade/Delete/Storage for every pack reward. It is unconfirmed if redeeming a cosmetic unlocks it for your alts.

Can I buy the Founder's Packs with regional pricing?

The officially published prices are $24.99, $49.99, and $99.99 USD, with verified Steam Germany amounts of 21,25€, 42,49€, and 84,99€. Prices on PURPLE may vary due to exchange rates.

Can I refund a Founder's Pack?

The official notice states cancellations and refunds are available until the game launches. After launch, refunds are available within 14 days, provided you have played less than 2 hours and have not used any of the included items. Refunds are otherwise processed under the policy of the platform you purchased from, Steam or PURPLE.

Are the cosmetics permanently exclusive?

This is currently unconfirmed. While some creators have reported global exclusivity, the current official pack notice no longer contains a previous sentence regarding future resale. Do not assume permanent exclusivity without a current official statement.
