1. Travel to the bar south of the Eastern Prontera Inn.
2. Speak with Shining Knight, and choose the dialogue option related to the Rune Knight job change quest.
3. Agree to begin the quest and proceed to meet Rune Knight Ygungbr.

1. Travel to the Glast Heim map and head to the northwestern region to locate Rune Knight Ygungbr.
2. Speak with Rune Knight Ygungbr and select the option to begin your Rune Knight training.
3. Proceed to level two of Glast Heim Chivalry and find the Rune Knight staff located south of the middle of the map. They will teleport you to the Rune Knight meeting area.
4. Upon arrival at the meeting area, talk to the Rune Knight Captain (located directly below your entry point on the map). Then, proceed southeast and talk to Rune Knight Lunarea. Declare your readiness to take the test.

1. Inside the Rune Knight meeting area, go to the western portion of the room and speak with Red Lotus Rune Knight Leona.
2. Read the three books located on the bookcases in the room: "Runes and Rune Knights," "The Principles of Runes," and "Making and Use of Runes."
3. Return to Red Lotus Rune Knight Leona after completing all three readings to proceed.

1. After speaking with Red Lotus Rune Knight Leona, you will be sent to Sage Serpeone at the New World camp.
2. Speak to Sage Serpeone and accept the monster-hunting task. You will need to kill:
   • 10 Dullahans
   • 10 Disguises
   • 10 Arclouse West
3. Travel to Niflheim's first field map to hunt the required monsters. You can access this map either from Umbala or from the Butterfly in Eden Kitchen.
4. Make sure to complete the necessary kills before returning to Sage Serpeone and reporting your progress.

1. After completing the monster-hunting quest, speak with Sage Serpeone at the camp. If your monster kill counts are complete, he will teleport you back to the Rune Knight meeting area.
2. Once you are back, speak with Red Lotus Rune Knight Leona to prepare for the ceremonial rune-matching task.
3. Approach the furnace located to the right of Leona. Match the runes displayed by the furnace with the shapes provided during the task instructions.

1. After completing the rune-matching task, speak with Red Lotus Rune Knight Leona.
2. Go east and speak with Rune Knight Captain Tigris, followed by Raven Rune Knight Belelfie.
3. Ensure your inventory weight is zero and dismount from your Peco Peco before speaking again to Captain Tigris.
4. Captain Tigris will officially change your job to Rune Knight and award you with one Green Apple Ring and one Rune Circlet.
